A sweet caramel pecan topping is baked into these buttery, soft dinner rolls that will be sure to impress your crowd. Easy to make and perfect for your next brunch!
Pecan Sticky Rolls
This pecan sticky rolls recipe takes only a few simple ingredients:
- Frozen Yeast Rolls – I like to use Rhodes dinner rolls, however any frozen yeast dinner rolls will work. There is no need to thaw prior to preparing.
- Butterscotch Pudding Mix – Be sure to get the regular pudding mix and not instant pudding mix.
- Brown Sugar – Either light or dark brown sugar will work fine, however I use light brown sugar.
- Pecans – These can be purchased already chopped or you can chop whole pecans.
- Stick of Butter – I typically use a salted stick of butter to help cut some of the sweetness.

How to Make Pecan Sticky Rolls
Start by dropping the frozen yeast rolls into a well greased Bundt pan.
Next, sprinkle the dry butterscotch pudding mix and brown sugar over the rolls.
Next, place the chopped pecans over the brown sugar.
Finally, pour the melted butter over the top of all ingredients.
Lastly, cover the Bundt pan tightly with plastic wrap and allow to rise overnight for about 8-10 hours. You can also cover with a damp towel. This will prevent the sticky rolls from forming a hard crust.
When ready to cook, preheat the oven to 350° F.
Be sure to remove the plastic wrap and then bake for 30 minutes. Allow to cool for 5 minutes.
Finally, flip the Bundt pan upside down onto a serving platter and remove. The rolls will pull apart easily like monkey bread simply by using forks.
Storage and Reheating Instructions
To Store: Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days at room temperature to avoid the rolls forming a hard crust.
To Reheat: Place on a microwave-safe plate and reheat in the microwave for 10-15 seconds on high.
